Pebblebed Vineyard Tours

Good News!

Pebblebed Vineyard Tours have started again and will run until Saturday October 2nd 2021

If you have a GIFT VOUCHER you can now book your visit: on your voucher you have a reference e.g. PB54380 – the five digit number, in this example “54380” is a special unique discount code, please use your own 5-digit code at checkout to redeem your vineyard tour. Please click here and read all the instructions & book your tour – thank you for your patience – we look forward to welcoming you to Pebblebed Vineyards.

Pebblebed is about sharing our passion for growing grapes and making good wine in our glorious Devon countryside. We very much enjoy showing people the vineyard and winery and conducting tastings of our award wining wines.

For the “Winemakers Tour” of the vineyard and winery  – you will arrive at our old farm and be met by wine maker Alex Mills or one of our experienced vineyard staff. You will be guided around the vineyard for approximately 1 hour with explanations of the vine varieties and challenges in growing grapes in Devon. Please note the vineyard is on a gentle slope and the ground is uneven. We are sorry that dogs are not allowed in the vineyard.

Then you will visit Pebblebeds’ winery and over the next hour your guide will talk through the processes involved in making different wines. You will then taste five of our wines with plenty of opportunity to discuss the vineyard or wine making methods. We will of course have wines available to buy from the cellar door!

For those who have a voucher which includes food (lunch or supper) this will follow after the tour at the vineyard. If food is not included in the original gift voucher purchase when the tour is booked online you can add food and pay the additional cost of £10 per person at checkout if you wish.

Whether you are a wine expert, wine lover or just enjoy being in the countryside we look forward to welcoming you to Pebblebed. Children are very welcome where accompanied by adults for which there is no cost (but of course they can’t sample the wine). Tours will normally take place even in poor weather.

During our harvest time end of September to mid October we invite volunteers to help us bring in the harvest – more details on our home page and Facebook page close to the time.
